Sign Up for Fall 2017 Studies Nursery available. Contact Marty Fritsch Standing in the True Grace of God: Peter's Life, Letters, and Lord A study of 1st and 2nd Peter Led by Barbaranne Kelly Tuesday mornings, Wednesday evenings Our study, Standing in the True Grace of God: Peter’s Life, Letters, and Lord, will briefly cover the life of the apostle before diving into the letters he wrote to the Christians scattered throughout much of what was then the civilized world. These “elect exiles” lived in difficult times. Peter’s epistles make it “quite clear that the object the Apostle had in mind when he wrote both these letters was to comfort and to encourage and to strengthen these people” (Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones). Their greatest need (and ours!) was Christ, their Redeemer and Exemplar of holy living. Peter was an imperfect man, but he was also a redeemed man, fiercely devoted to his Savior: the Christ, the Son of the living God. Come learn with me from Peter to love and to follow our Lord Jesus Christ with fierce devotion. *Binders with our study lessons will be printed and available for picking up by September 3 in the EB. Acts of the Apostles: Witness to the World Led by Kathy Horan Tuesday mornings
