Mission, Vision, & Beliefs
Mission
Christ Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God through Christ-centered worship, discipleship, and community. We are committed to the ordinary means of grace—God’s Word, the sacraments, and prayer—as the foundation for spiritual growth. We nurture strong families, equip believers to serve with their gifts, care for our covenant children, and proclaim the Gospel locally and globally in obedience to the Great Commission.
Vision
Our vision is to be a Christ-centered, Gospel-driven, Confessionally Reformed church that glorifies God in every area of life throughout New Braunfels and beyond. We pursue this through worship, community, discipleship, missions, and personal evangelism, all grounded in the truth of God’s Word.
Doctrine
The Gospel
The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, offering salvation to all who believe in Him.
The Bible
The Bible is God’s perfect Word—true, trustworthy, and the ultimate authority for our lives.
The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and now reigns as our Savior.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit gives us new life, strengthens our faith, and helps us grow to be more like Christ.
Man and Sin
All people are born in sin and need God’s grace. Salvation is a gift—received by grace through faith in Jesus alone.
The Church
The Church is the family of believers, gathered to worship God, grow in faith, care for one another, and share the Gospel.
The Return of Christ
Jesus will return one day to make all things new and to reign forever.
