The Men’s Ministry
Men of the Covenant
We are the Men’s Ministry of Christ Presbyterian Church—Men of the Covenant. Guided by our Session of Elders, we seek to faithfully live out the Gospel of Grace through teaching, equipping, and serving.
Our desire is to see men grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ, leading lives that reflect His truth and strength. Together, we strive to build one another up in faith, encourage servant leadership in our homes and community, and live out our calling as brothers united in covenant with God and one another.
Women’s Ministry
Women of Purpose
“. . . to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” —Ephesians 4:12
Our common goal is for sisters in Christ to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to fulfill their God-given purpose in covenant community with other women. Under the leadership of the session, we seek to faithfully proclaim and minister the gospel of grace through a unified threefold purpose – teaching, equipping and serving the body of Christ.
We endeavor to teach one another who God is, who we are, and how we are uniquely designed to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We are intentional about combatting the lies of this age with the truth of God’s Word.
We endeavor to equip one another to fulfill our God-given purpose in the home, covenant body and in the surrounding culture. We teach and equip for the work of ministry and for building up the body of Christ in unity and love.
“And finally, we endeavor to serve our covenant family through prayer, hands-on ministry, and various other means of grace so that together we may grow up in every way into Christ, our head.”
PRAYER
We have three prayer meetings each week when together we pray through the Psalms. Sunday mornings we meet in person, and Tuesdays and Thursdays we meet via Zoom.
STUDY
We offer several opportunities to study God’s Word together. During the school year there are Bible studies on Wednesday mornings and evenings, and a women’s Sunday school class Sunday mornings.
GATHER
We host quarterly fellowships where we gather for food, fun, and fellowship. Every other year we go away to retreat from the busyness of life for a time of rest, rejuvenation, and refreshment with our sisters in Christ.
CONNECT
Every other year we host a conference for women from churches across Central and South Texas, bringing in a Reformed speaker to renew our hearts and minds from the Word of God.
Youth Ministry
Westminster Youth
Our youth ministry exists to partner with parents in discipling their students in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ (Eph. 6:4; Deut. 6:6–7). We grow together through weekly Bible study, Christ-centered fellowship, worship, and service. Each month we gather for community outreach or fellowship events, and every summer we host a youth camp focused on spiritual growth and biblical maturity (2 Pet. 3:18; Heb. 10:24–25). Our goal is to help students know Christ deeply, love His church, and live faithfully for His glory.
- Sunday School 9:30am
- Youth Meetings Wednesdays 6:15pm
- Rotating Activities once a month.
WEDNESDAYS
Wednesday evenings we meet to worship and fellowship. This is the most important thing we do outside of Sunday worship. We get together, read scripture, sing together, listen to God instruct us on how to live to honor him and then we pray and dismiss.
After our time of worship, we fellowship and spend time playing on our beautiful facility that God has blessed us with.
SUNDAYS
Sundays we meet for Bible study. We are studying through books of the Bible and discussing relevant topics that address our current state as young people growing up in the western world.
MONTHLY
Monthly, we get together for an activity at one of our homes or plan a fun activity in town like bowling, watching a movie, or paintballing etc.
ANNUALLY
Once a year we would like to plan a mission’s trip either domestic or outside continental US. This is expressly to be engaged in helping a church planter or doing something evangelistic.
Children’s Ministry
Covenant Kids
Covenant Kids meets on Wednesday nights in the Education Building, where children grow in faith through engaging lessons, activities, and games. Our mission is to help each child build a strong foundation in God’s Word and develop a lifelong love for Jesus Christ. Guided by caring teachers, Covenant Kids provides a joyful and nurturing environment where faith is learned, friendships are formed, and young hearts are encouraged to walk with Christ.
